Sovereign Health of Texas is one of the nation’s leading providers of dual diagnosis treatment. A staff of well-trained, dedicated professionals diagnose and treat patients with multiple mental health disorders and addiction illnesses. We offer an array of evidence-based therapies tailored to the specific needs of each patient who comes through our doors. We provide different levels of care, including detox treatment, residential treatment, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs.
Our residential treatment facility is located in El Paso a short ride from the El Paso International Airport. Opened in January, 2016, it is situated in green and grassy surroundings adjacent to Franklin Mountains State Park. This affords patients the opportunity to focus on their recovery in a serene and scenic environment. An attentive staff is on duty to assist our patients in any way possible and crisis intervention is available at all times.
The El Paso facility is open to adults 18 years and over, with separate living accommodations for men and women. It has an open floor plan with spacious bedrooms that sleep two to four patients. Three professionally prepared meals are served each day in our dining room and patients are able to make food requests to meet any of their particular dietary needs.
Patients participate in individual, group or family therapy sessions. We also offer other resources including stress and anger management groups, life skills education and relapse prevention classes. Recreational outings are also a useful and enjoyable part of the recovery process. As part of our holistic approach to treatment, attendance at 12-step meetings is mandatory at least four days a week.
Our El Paso location is a bilingual facility offering services in both English and Spanish. It is licensed by the State of Texas as a substance abuse treatment facility.
